    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in the field. You will utilize your technical expertise to diagnose and repair equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics and also a understanding of electronics or strong desire to learn it. Having a farming background is a bonus. Most of the work is on Dairy and Poultry farms in Ohio.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including Manure pumps and Feeding equipment.
    • Work on equipment with computers and electronics.
    • Diagnose issues using schematics and OEM specifications to ensure accurate repairs.
    • Utilize power tools and other equipment safely and effectively during service calls.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs, maintenance, and recommendations.
    • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
    • Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to vehicle maintenance and repair.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in equipment repair or as a service technician in a related field.
    • Strong systems and their components.
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
    • Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively.
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
